Winter Teas Trio Gift Set with Infuser
Three Makaibari special blends chosen for the colder months, presented with a hand-held infuser. Warming, aromatic, and ready to gift.
Estate teas. Natural warmth. Ready to give.
Makaibari's flavoured teas start where most flavoured teas end: with a base worth drinking on its own. The estate's biodynamic cultivation produces leaves with enough character to carry bold botanicals without being overwhelmed by them.
This trio was composed for the winter gifting season — apple and cinnamon, ginger and spice, cool peppermint — but the teas drink well through the year. The infuser is made to last, not to be thrown away after one season.
Six ridges, three rivers, one estate. Everything in this box was grown, picked and packed inside that boundary.
What's inside
Organic Darjeeling black tea blended with wild Himalayan apple pieces and cinnamon bark. The sweetness of apple, the warmth of spice, the depth of muscatel.
Darjeeling green tea with dried ginger root and warming spices. A brisk, bright cup with a long ginger finish — good hot, good cold.
A delicate Makaibari white tea with peppermint. Cooling and clean, with the natural sweetness of white tea behind the mint.
The base teas in this collection are grown at Makaibari, using biodynamic methods on a hillside estate in Kurseong, Darjeeling. Each blend is made by pairing these estate teas with natural botanicals — no artificial flavours or enhancers.
The result is teas that taste as the ingredients smell: real apple, real ginger, real peppermint — carried by some of the finest organic tea grown in India.
All three teas are loose leaf. The included infuser holds one serving. Use 2g per 200ml, and give the leaves room to open — these blends release their aroma as the water hits them.
Fill the infuser
Place 2g of loose leaf blend into the included infuser. A level teaspoon is a reliable measure. The botanicals are coarser than the tea — shake the pouch gently before each use to distribute evenly.
Set the temperature
Apple Cinnamon Black: 95°C. Ginger Spice Green: 80°C. White Peppermint Bark: 75°C. Lower temperatures protect the delicate white and green bases.
Pour and steep
Submerge the infuser and pour water over it. Steep Black for 3–4 min, Green for 2–3 min, White for 3–4 min. The aromas will tell you when it is ready.
Remove and serve
Lift the infuser, allow it to drain, and rinse immediately — the botanicals can stain if left to dry. The Peppermint and Ginger teas are excellent iced.
